This will include things like size, scale, setting, narrative and also the budget available. When a portrait is agreed, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is paid before the work begins. The balance is then due upon successful completion. Success is determined by the client and the client is not obliged to pay anything more if not completely satisfied.
